Diamond Sea Glaze full glass bulkhead door and windows are standard. The new Tomcat 255 also boasts 1 1/4 inch stainless steel railings and grab handles.
On the port side of the house we have a dinette, with a reversible forward seat. There is a drawer and storage locker under the aft seat, and additional storage under the foot boards. The dinette quickly makes into a large berth (6' 4" L by 32" W).
The lift-out reversible dinette seat quickly & easily coverts from cruising to lounging configurations.
The marine head is located on the starboard side aft of the galley. Removable privacy curtains allow for excellent visibility through the large windows when cruising.
The galley consists of a stainless steel sink with a 30 gallon water tank, and a two burner alcohol stove (option for a diesel stove/heater).
An impressive forward berth, 7'7" average length by 61" wide makes it larger than a queen size bed. Storage compartments are located under the mattress. The anchor locker is enclosed with two access hatches. There are two portholes with screens and a bow hatch for ventilation.
The view out the windows, is excellent from all seats. Most people are rather surprised at just how good the forward visibility is from the pilots seat & the reversible companion seat. The fact that this cat runs flat at all speeds and stays flat in even the hardest of turns means that the pilot will always have full unobstructed visibility in all directions.
