C-Dory's 16' Angler & Cruiser are ruggedly built little boats that share a common hull design.
Simple, practical and built to last with a construction method and lay-up schedule that's far superior to any other boat in its class. A C-Dory can handle very rough seas and will withstand a lot of abuse.
A salty little cabin affords plenty of protection from the elements. It's this cabin that sets C-Dory's 16' Angler & Cruiser models apart from the competition.
Very few boats this size offer a hard top cabin, and none as good looking or as ruggedly built as the C-Dory.
16' Angler
The 16’ Angler has the smaller cabin of the two models. Its also mounted fairly close to the bow, yielding a spacious 5' aft deck. A large lockable storage compartment is located ahead of the dash and two swiveling pedestal seats are mounted just behind it.
Now just imagine you & your buddy siting inside the cabin with the seats facing aft for protection from the elements, and fishing away the day in comfort.
16' Cruiser
The 16’ Cruiser has a little larger cabin than the Angler model, and is located a little further aft on the hull. The cabin seats two people on swiveling seats mounted on storage lockers, two additional people can be seated on the aft edge of the "V" berth.
The berth area is open with only a dash on the starboard side. A removable table mounts along the port side. Storage space is available under the berth and under the two swivel seats. The aft deck is about 3', from the back of the seats to the motor well.
Common Features
The boats electrical systems include: Anchor light, running lights, horn, bilge pump, switch panel, fuse holders and ground terminals. (Our switch panel has six circuits with four switches normally left unused.)
Windows are of very high quality, with radius corner aluminum frames that have been powder coated. (like the ones in expensive yachts). The side windows open and a deck hatch in the bow opens for ventilation.
The cleats (4ea 6" & 1ea 8", S.S.) and the stainless steel handrails on the top and rear of the house, are all through bolted for maximum security. All top decks are a healthy 3/4" thick, downriggers or other equipment requiring a sturdy mount base can be bolted on any top walking surface.
Both the cockpit sole and the top walk decks have a very aggressive non skid. The top deck’s nonskid is a molded in diamond pattern. The cockpit sole is coated in a Gelcoat and sand finish that is renewable. All nonskid areas are tan or light gray in color to coordinate with the boats accent color.
