The transom accepts
Main & Auxiliary Motor
or
Matched Twin Motors.
A Honda 90/75hp & a Honda 8hp motor can share this transom (without mounting
the main off-center). The Honda four stroke main motor will actually troll very
nicely. You may never use the auxiliary motor except for an emergency backup or to
recharge the main battery. The twin package actually weighs about 50lbs less than the
Main/Aux. setup. You also get two alternators and a dual battery system. If you only
operate in protected waters a single Honda 50 hp will do a decent job. |

New for the 2000 model year, is a 40 gallon fuel system
(old system was 36). Our custom molded fuel tanks fit like a glove,
that means we can fit more fuel into less space. The new system yields twice as much
room between the tanks (about 28", 2 portable fuel tanks will fit).
These new tanks are made of an opaque plastic, making the fuel level
visible. Each tank is held snugly in place by two cleats and a removable hold down strap.
A shield protects the side of the tanks exposed to he cockpit. |
